They will know we are Christians by our love

We are at Hospice again. Waiting. Everyone says he will go soon.

The last thing I want to do here is preach. I have always believed that I can – and should – be a Christian that lets my light shine by who I am and how I carry myself. I don’t have a Jesus fish on my car. I hope I just drive the way Jesus would. I don’t wear a cross every day, just on the days I need more reminding. I don’t promote myself as a Christian anything. I just try to be a good person and answer the questions I am asked about where I find peace.

But I have to tell you about what I have seen. My grandfather has lived an amazing life. He created an amazing family. The last few years have presented a terrible battle with cancer. He has been in so much pain. He has lived through his body failing. He has watched us mourn.

And what does he do?

He Rejoyces. He Celebrates. He tells us not to cry. He raises his hands and shouts glory. He is no longer in pain. He is ready for Jesus.

And the time is very close.

I cannot imagine how anyone who has seen what I have seen could have any doubt.

He is an amazing man. He had lived an amazing life. He created an amazing family.

All because he has an amazing Savior.

And so do I.
