Sorry I’ve been gone. I’ve been having so much fun! And staying on plan!
Last night was Punch Brothers at Woodsongs. And we chatted with our crush, Chris Thile!
I had a very stressful day at work. It’s just crazy there. I’m trying to figure out a way to talk about it without it being offensive if somoene from work would come across my blog. So just know that I deserved my afternoon treat. And I counted it. My decisions may not have been the best today, but I counted everything and I’m under my points for the day. I was over big time on Sunday, so I’m not gonna worry about it.
Breakfast: Coffee, water, banana.

Lunch: Spicy shrimp sushi. I ate half of this and have the other half for tomorrow. It is SO GOOD.

And then? 3ish? A venti non-fat, 2 pump, no whip white mocha. And it was awesome.

Dinner: spinach, rotisserie chicken, cranberries, goat cheese, slivered almonds, homemade mustard-raspberry viniagrette. (On one of my new midsized plates!)

Snack during Biggest Loser: carrots and string cheese.

And in my future: my nightcap. espresso, 1 cup steamed milk, 1 tsp syrup. Yummmmm.

And exercise? Yeah. 30 HARD minutes on the Arc Trainer. I was seriously ready to quit after 6. But I focused on being the anti-Joelle and on What Not to Wear. And then 30 moderate minutes on the exercise bike.
All in all? A pretty good day, I think!
go you and your anti-joelle-ness! Okay, one day I’m going to order this from starbucks just so I can understand this drink :)
Your new plates are really cute! I’ve been eating my cereal out of tiny (1 cup) bowls lately and I hardly notice that I’m eating one portion.
They still have their Christmas cups!
Okay. After reading through a few entries, I started to notice your awesome blog entry titles with song snippets. And then I notice they’re all good songs. I start thinking, “This chick has some good taste in music, but I wonder if she’s ever heard of Nickel Creek.” ((The greatest band ever…)) — and then I see this. Chris Thile is a god among men, supremely talented, and I totally have a crush on him too. I’m jealous of the show and jealous you got a photo with him.
My brother, two of my best friends and I drove to Tulsa from Denver to see Nickel creek two nights running. We met Chris the 2nd night, and didn’t get a photo.
Yeah. Consider yourself blogrolled.
