he mixes it with love and makes the world taste good

Sorry for the title. I’m watching Willy Wonka.

Weight Watchers Weigh-in: End of Week 3.

I lost 1.4 this week. 6.8 so far. It could have been better, but I am very proud.

Okay, so how did my week go?

  • Goal 1: 210 minutes of gym time. Dude, I rocked this out. I ended up with 220 minutes. I knew I was 10 minutes over and I did it anyway! I did struggle one day (stupid arc trainer), but Nathan convinced me that some days are just like that. And then yesterday I rocked the treadmill – and it tried to beat me. But I didn’t let it. I won that battle fair and square.
  • Goal 2: stability chart 3 times. I didn’t do the chart a single time. I did use the ball daily to stretch after I worked out and I sit on it when blogging/reading blogs. I’ll fix this next week.
  • Goal 3: post pictures of everything. I did this every day but once. And that day was bad. I counted everything. And I got back on.

What helped me this week?

  • Eating at home or from home. That’s all there is. I have control that way.
  • Varying my workouts – arc trainer, treadmill, bike. I have had issues with some machines because I get slower as the intensity goes up. So I set the display to the “revolutions per minute” setting and try to keep it at a certain number. That keeps me from wussing out.
  • Finding small things to satisfy my cravings. I really REALLY wanted chocolate the other day. So I went into my bosses office and grabbed a single chocolate covered pretzel out of her jar. I made it last 3 bites. It did the trick. And yesterday I had a single Hershey miniature. Nice.
  • Non-fat milk in a latte doesn’t change the taste at all.

Goals for next week:

  • Seriously. Every bite. All the time.
  • Stability ball chart x3. No excuses. Come on, Krissie.
  • 250 minutes at the gym.
  • I will not touch my weekly point allowance. I will only eat the extra points that I earn through exercise. (I was only 4 points off this goal last week, so I know it’s do-able.)

It’s gonna be a great and busy week!
