I am SO EXCITED!
Why? My reason is twofold: 1) FatBridesmaid is coming to see me this weekend! Yay! 2) I found a new challenge!
So, in line with the challenge, I have 2 things to accomplish in this post. I need to lay out my goals by BlogHer and my challenge goal for the week.
Easy peasy!
Goal by BlogHer: 199. That easy. It’s what I weighed on my wedding day 6 years ago, in July. Between March and July that year, I lost almost exactly as much weight as I need to lose by then. And I was planning a wedding, so it was really just about half-assed. I’m doing this ALL THE WAY. And I’m very excited.
And for my weekly challenge, I am choosing the Fitness Challenge. Jillian’s 30 Day Shred for 7 days. I’m so excited! I love challenges!

Back to yesterday – how do I keep the drama of last week from happening again? Counting points.
One of my big pitfalls, I think, is that I have done WW before. I think I know how many points are in things instinctively. I think I know what a portion size looks like. I think I know that I can know how many activity points I’ve earned by how much I’ve sweat.
Yeah. Not so much.
Today I’ve gotten out my slider at every meal. I’ve recalculated everything I ate. I’ve been focused and have gone way back to step 1. The starting block. Right where I need to be.
And food pictures are integral. So here are today’s eats!
Breakfast: Starbucks Vivanno (Yes, it is dark outside)

Lunch: half of this shrimp sushi and all the pita chips

Snack: some bar. Why can’t they have Clif bars in the hospital cafeteria? Sounds like i need to fill out a comment card…

Snack #2: a pickle

Dinner: Cabbage and sausage with spicy mustard viniagrette

When I hit “publish” that means I can’t eat anymore or I’m a liar! What motivation to stop eating, right?
On my plate for tonight: Jillian and elliptical during our hour of tv (Big Bang Theory and How I Met Your Mother). Yay!
Does this mean we’re doing 30-Day Shred this weekend when I visit? I thought we might, so I’ll be sure to bring a copy of my will with me. You know, just in case.

I think that would definitely help me to take pictures of every bite I eat (like your challenge earlier…) What kind of camera/software do you have? My current camera/photo download is cumbersome & takes forever.
