here take my sweater

Okay, lets get the business out of the way. I went to Weight Watchers today. I maintained from 2 weeks ago. That’s a very good thing considering when I weighed myself at home last Monday I was up 4 pounds. So this week I just lost the weight I’d gained the week before. I’m good with that.

My big goal was 7 days Jillian. I made 5. That’s up from 3 the week before. I am so proud of myself!

img_0001I didn’t post pictures, but I took a picture of everything except dinner on Friday night. I stayed in my points, I worked pretty hard.

But this week I’m back to 100% on program. And I’m psyched!

Goals for this week:

  • Lose those stupid 1.4 pounds to make my 5%.
  • Jillian x4
  • 315 minutes of exercise (Jillian counts)
  • Only eating the points I earn exercising – no other flex points allowed!
  • I am reserving the right to add a fifth goal dealing with the challenge that will come from hotbyblogher

I know you all are just dying to see pictures from the weekend with Fat Bridesmaid, so here they are!

She got here on Friday night and we went to eat at Ramseys (that’s where we took you too, Sarah!). We came home, had some wonderful Black Velvets made by Nate (Guiness and cider), and just hung out. Saturday found us shopping for shoes, jewelry, books, shoes again, and Derby hats. (If you wanna see shoe pictures, check me out on twitter!)

We got unstinky, ate homemade and healthy pizzas, and drank sangria. Perfect night.

This morning, we went to the gym(!), had Starbucks, and then she had to leave. Boo!

  1. Some weeks, I consider no gain to be just as good as a loss. And four days in a row of working out is a great accomplishment. I haven’t made it more than 4 days in a row yet.

    Glad you had a fun weekend! Look for the new challenge tomorrow!

    I love the pics of you girls! You both have something similar in your smiles and eyes – like a sort of intelligence mixed with cautious kindness. Does that make sense? haha. I think my best friend and I have something similar in our faces too. Maybe friendship is like they say about pets and their owners – that they start to look alike. :)

  3. I just started doing Weight Watchers last week. Having come over from South Beach Diet (which wasn’t working), being able to have all the good stuff I’m eating, I’m so happy, I’m not noticing that the portions are tiny. However, my stomach obviously is shrinking cause I’m not hungry after a meal. 2 hours later is a different story:) Congratulations on doing the shred – I’m totally afraid of passing out half-way through the video, so I’m working up to it:D
