has a goldfish named silver

I took these pictures on Saturday for my progress page. And they freak me out.

Freak. Me. Out.

I actually made Nathan come over and confirm that I look like this.

And then I cried.

And then he said, “You do run a lot!”

I swear, people. This is CRAZY!

And just in case you need a before shot to remind you…

See? I told you it’s CRAZY!

(Go see my progress pics page for more craziness. Seriously. WHO AM I?)

  1. Holy moly!!!! You look amazing!!! I can see a huge difference. Congratulations again – you have done a brilliant job to get to such a wonderful place. I’m so happy for you – and deeply jealous!

Keep up the wonderful work!!! :)

  2. you look FANTASTIC!!!!! Way to go!!!!
I’m just freshly starting out on the C25K program for the first time in my Life…I hope that it helps me to become healthy and to stop being the “fat girl in the pictures”…
You’re pictures and blog give me so much hope!!!! THANK YOU for sharing your story with us! =)

    • I started C25K about 5 times before I finished. My final start was last fall. I’ve never looked back. I love being a runner. It’s what I’ve always wanted.

Thanks for reading and coming back!

  3. You’re a woman who has worked her butt to reach her goals, and has deserved to lose every. single. pound.

You look amazing, and are such an inspiration – good on you, girl!!!

  4. WooHoo! Look at how great you look! I feel so happy for you. Not only are you stunning you look really healthy too! Keep it up.

  5. I rarely comment…but I need to tell you how proud I am of you! You are so inspirational!! I started reading a few years ago and I loved how you wrote, but I never saw your blog as a health blog. Your struggles to lose weight were real and I appreciated that you wrote about it.

Well guess what? About 2 months ago I was struggling with exercise, and I actually boycotted your blog! It was hard to see you so gung-ho about running when I was sitting on my arse. And that’s when I realized you crossed the line!! Congrats hunny, I look forward to reading your blog every day. You are still honest about your struggles, but your success is real, relatable, and motivating.

    • Friend, I am SO glad you’re back! Let me tell you, it’s not easy every day. I try really hard to be balanced and realistic – showing the days that it’s hard. I have a hard time thinking about my blog fitting in any genre because it’s just about me. My blog tends to focus on whatever my mind is focused on. Right now, it’s running. And Nathan, of course!

Thanks so much for coming back – and for telling me!

  6. Um…I’m jealous. Oh, yeah, I said it. But more importantly, I am inspired. Congratulations on your continued success! :)

  7. Stunning as usual. :)

You’ve been such a huge inspiration over the past 6 months for me. I hope you’re damn proud of yourself chickie!
