Repeat with remaining biscuit dough and toss finished doughnuts in sugar to coat. Using the handle of a wooden spoon, poke a hole into the side of each doughnut. Fill a decorating bag fit with small tip with vanilla cream (or make your own decorating bag by filling a plastic ziplock bag with the cream and cutting a small hole in one corner).

Open your can of biscuits and lay flat on a cutting board. Take your shot glass or baby bottle and press the open end in down on the dough to cut out a hole in the middle, do this for all 8 biscuits, keep cut out middles to make doughnut holes. By the time you get done prepping your biscuits, your oil should be ready.

Directions: Let’s get started making these easy donuts. One package of Pillsbury Buttermilk Biscuit. Cooking oil. Bottle cap. Sugar and cinnamon or topping of choice. Mix in a medium size bowl. Marci, let me know that the Flaky Layers Buttermilk package is not the one that you want but rather the Buttermilk Biscuit ones.

Cut the biscuits into 4 equal quarters and then roll them into balls. Melt the butter in a small bowl, and then mix the cinnamon and sugar together in a separate bowl. Drench the dough balls into the butter and then roll them around in the cinnamon sugar mixture. Line them all up in your dish and bake for 15-20 minutes.

To make a milkshake without ice cream, mix milk, vanilla, and chocolate syrup in your blender for 15-20 seconds. Add sugar and blend for an additional 5-10 seconds, then pour in your ice cubes and blend again until the milkshake is smooth. Be careful not to overblend the ice, though, or your milkshake will be runny.

Yes, you can use canned biscuits after their expiration or best buy date. They actually keep a long time. I have had one pop itself open though, so be cautious to that happening. I volunteer at a food bank, and we had a pallet of expired biscuits/crescent rolls. Some did open, so we tossed them.
