Kneading -- squeezing, stretching, folding and pressing -- breathes new life into hardened fondant when you add a little slip to the process. Add about 1 teaspoon of glycerin for every 1 pound of fondant. As you knead, the glycerin makes hardened fondant more pliable by trapping water molecules and rehydrating the icing.

By kneading, stretching, squeezing, pressing, and folding will make the fondant soft again if you add some slip to it. You can use a teaspoon of glycerin for a pound of fondant. The glycerin will help the fondant to trap some water molecules. The icing will be rehydrated making it pliable. You can use any vegetable shortening.

Stir the mixture with a wooden spoon greased with some butter or shortening until incorporated. Put the marshmallow and sugar mass on the counter and knead it until uniform. If the mixture is too sticky, add some more powdered sugar. You can grease your hands and counter with some shortening if you don’t want to add more sugar.

Make your fondant several days before you plan to serve it. Air-drying fondant is a reliable way to avoid overdrying, but it is time-consuming. Make your fondant far enough in advance so it can be dry by the time you're ready to serve the cake. Air-drying fondant can take up to 36 hours, depending on thickness.

Fondant dry out quickly, so be sure to keep it covered or wrapped in plastic wrap when not being used. After decorating, roll unused fondant into a ball and coat with a thin layer of solid vegetable shortening. Wrap tightly in plastic wrap and store at room temperature in an airtight container.

I had a 1/2 pound of super dried out fondant, so I chopped it into chunks with a large knife(carefully) and put the roughly 1 inch size pieces in a microwavable bowl. I added about 2 tablespoons of corn syrup and microwaved for about 12 secs.

To make a milkshake without ice cream, mix milk, vanilla, and chocolate syrup in your blender for 15-20 seconds. Add sugar and blend for an additional 5-10 seconds, then pour in your ice cubes and blend again until the milkshake is smooth. Be careful not to overblend the ice, though, or your milkshake will be runny.
