Marshmallow fondant is surprisingly easy to make! You’ll need the following ingredients; mini marshmallows, water, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract, plus gel food colors (I like the Wilton brand) if you want to color it different colors and then you’re ready to go.

Wrap the marshmallow fondant well in cling wrap for storage. In a sealed container, it can be stored in a cool room or the refrigerator for up to two months. Knead it until supple before use. Do not refrigerate a cake that's covered in fondant or fondant decorations because the condensation can ruin the smooth texture.

Microwave on high for another 30 seconds, stir, and repeat until marshmallows are melted and smooth (about 1.5-2.5 minutes). Mix 6 cups of the sugar into the melted marshmallows and carefully fold; the mixture will be lumpy. You can add flavoring and/or food coloring at this point if you'd like.
